One of the individuals who plays an integral role in our operations is Erik Shaffer, our systems administrator. Erik is responsible for deploying, maintaining and monitoring all Shipment Trackers’ key systems, which are used to streamline operations, create data visibility and ultimately help find and recover money for our clients. Additionally, Erik assists with ensuring invoices are gathered and imported into the proper systems in a timely manner.
Erik’s technical knowledge of hardware and software allows Shipment Trackers to maximize efficiency in our backend systems which ultimately leads to seamless interaction for our clients in our invoice payment and reporting modules. Erik is our up-time preservationist, maintaining the resources on which our tracking and auditing systems rely.

What is your favorite part about working at Shipment Trackers?
Erik: My favorite part about working at Shipment Trackers is the welcoming atmosphere. Our team is also collaborative, which makes exchanging new ideas easy.
What led you to this career?
Erik: A chance encounter led to a job opportunity at Shipment Trackers, which I am glad I took.
What work-related accomplishment are you most proud of?
Erik: I performed nearly a full overhaul of all Shipment Trackers’ backend systems, which I am proud of.
What is the best piece of career advice you have ever received?
Erik: Keep moving forward.
Where was your very first job?
Erik: My very first job was at a fruit farm.
