When it comes to managing accounting and administrative projects, Denise Anderson is the go-to. Denise’s focus on invoicing (including weekly invoice consolidation for GL coding), special reports and carrier invoice inventory make her an integral part of our team. In addition to managing invoicing, she oversees accounts payable and receivable, financial reconciliation, human resources support and special projects. With Denise’s expertise, not only are we able to keep our internal business operations running smoothly, but also our clients’ projects.
With over 15 years’ service to Shipment Trackers, Denise has a comprehensive understanding of the shipping and transportation industry as well as accounting and administrative expertise. Using her knowledge, Denise has played a critical role in helping our team develop new service offerings to better serve both current and prospective clients and provide them with an exceptional experience.
When not hard at work, Denise can be found spending time with her husband and three children. Denise enjoys helping to run her family business, KnA Property Solutions, as well as kayaking, reading and spending time at the beach.

What is your favorite part about working at Shipment Trackers?
Denise: My favorite part about working at Shipment Trackers is the team. Not only do I enjoy being a part of such a great group, but I have so much confidence in everyone I work with. We have smart, honest, friendly, hardworking, flexible people that excel in problem solving and take pride in doing what’s best for our clients.
I also enjoy the business relationships I have developed with many of our clients. Our team has over 20 years of expertise in invoice payment and GL coding solutions. We answer our client’s questions, get to know their business, and implement custom solutions to help them save time and money. In the end, that is the goal and I find it extremely satisfying.
What work-related accomplishment are you most proud of?
Denise: As a long-time member of the Shipment Trackers team, I have witnessed firsthand our original business model as a small parcel service audit provider expand to what it is today. Over the years, as the needs of our clients changed, so did the opportunity for additional service offerings. I took part in implementing what is now our Loss/Damage Claims service then later established a team and processes focused solely on our Invoice Consolidation and Payment service.
What is the best piece of career advice you have ever received?
Denise: I have been fortunate to pick up many valuable pieces of advice throughout my career from the those who I admire and respect. The top three best pieces of advice I have received include:
1. Nothing is beneath you.
2. Never mistake activity for achievement.
3. You learn more about a person on the way out than on the way in.
Where was your very first job?
Denise: I got my first job in my early teens as a newspaper delivery girl. I walked or biked a mile every day, with a big canvas bag strapped over me, to bring the day’s happenings to about 20-25 homes.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Denise: When I was a child, I thought big rigs and their loud air horns were awesome. I wanted to be a truck driver spending my days on the open roads. However, as an adult I find long drives tiring, so it is probably best I chose an alternative career path!
